These posts may give more information about the project or the pup, they may show the original photos used for the portrait, and several posts will show progress shots, per your requests! You will also find customer testimonials on these pages (when I remembered to ask for them in writing!)

Larry Bird

This picture was commissioned by a friend from Boston - Because I was a big Lakers fan at the time. Since there was no specific direction given, other than being a Celtics painting ... I had to throw a little Magic in … ! The result was a large poster painting and collage. The trophy in the foreground is made of gold leaf.

Rainbow Bridge

This painting was inspired by the poem "Rainbow Bridge". This was created as a triptych for a wooden space above a fireplace. There are four dogs, the two in the background had passed years earlier. The client wanted a picture with them all together.

Tweety

Tweety has the distinction of being my very first pet portrait. She was the mascot / resident pooch at WildBirds Unlimited on Hilton Head Island.

Luscious

Luscious is a Giant Chihuahua - 36x48. My First time painting clothes on a pup - and first Extra larger-than-life painting. Loved it!

Ninja Chris

A friend in college graciously posed for me so I could complete a last minute final project.

Farewell, Miss Julie

Miss Julie was the favorite dog of author Robert Tinsley. I was asked to make the cover and chapter illustrations.
